• Nigel is nervous about his court appearance but Elizabeth is not impressed. She isn’t going with him – clients to see so Hayley is going to have to take him.
• Bert is having another go at the computers but he has a lot to learn. He is putting Freda’s jam recipes on the computer but the noise of the Radio Borchester band competition is putting him off. But maybe Dross will be in with a chance – they’ve made it to the final anyway. Jolene thinks they were the best so far and the judge seemed to think they were okay.
• Roy is going out with Tom for his birthday to the Xanadu in Felpersham despite the Ambridge micro climate producing frost when the rest of the country is bathed in record high temperatures. He’s completely over Kirsty – maybe his birthday will be his lucky night!
• Nigel has been banned for a year and fined £800. Elizabeth is furious and even more cross that Nigel doesn’t seem to be taking it seriously – he hasn’t even thought about the consequences. What else can he do? He’s said he’s sorry.
• Jolene has been arranging a pancake race on the green for next Tuesday – children and adults. She hopes they might also pop into the Bull for a meal afterwards.
