  • Everything is going well with the calving at Bridge Farm – and also with Helen and Ross it seems. But Pat needs to find out if the supermarket is really interested in buying the carrots now they are ready. They are going to take 100 bags as a trial but the price is only at just about break even level. Tony thinks they should just say no then – they are just trying to bully her. Eddie’s idea is that they should play one supermarket off against another and look for another one. They agree to give it a try.
  • Clarrie is still baking for the church and she is less than impressed that Eddie still doesn’t know what is her favourite after all these years. She puts it down to him being jealous – Eddie still owes Alan £5.
  • Ed seems to be doing well at Grange Farm. He’s getting the hang of some new techniques. Oliver is pleased to know he’ll be leaving the farm in such good hands while he and Caroline are away on honeymoon. Ed won’t let them down – he’s on the right track.
