  • Carol worries that Jill is doing too much and wonders if it is time she slowed down and put herself first for a change. Jill insists she wants to make Christmas dinner at Brookfield. Carol suggests she should speak with David and Ruth about how she really feels about the sale of Brookfield. Jill is touched when Carol gives her some winter roses from her garden for Phil’s grave.

Tom decides to go ahead with the tradition as Tony would want. When Pat arrives back from church she is pleased to find Tom, Helen, Johnny and Henry have put up the tree.
