Characters: , , , , ,
  • Jennifer is still hoping that the builders will be in next week. Peggy is a bit more suspicious. Jennifer admits that Brian is still suffering, and that isn’t helping Adam. He is barely keeping going. He says he just has a few things to do and then he’s going home. Peggy and Jennifer are worried if he is safe – they have enough to worry over one grandson.
  • Pat is still trying to get in touch with Tom but he isn’t answering his phone. But in the meantime a stranger tries to block her in in her parking place. Tom does return her call but doesn’t want to see her. He just can’t face anyone at the moment.
  • Peggy tells Jennifer that Tony blames her because of her Will. Jennifer says that is nothing to do with it and is just down to Tom and Kirsty.
  • Peggy goes to visit Tom and he says he will apologise again. Peggy says that’s not why she is there. She wanted to make sure he was okay and gets him to confirm that he feels he was right to call off the wedding. Peggy says that in that case, Kirsty will understand. Peggy says he shouldn’t brush away family – he needs them. Tony says harsh things but he cares.
  • Charlie pesters Adam over the absence of hours put in. Adam tells him there is nothing he can do without additional costs. Charlie is disappointed but Adam says he’ll take him on on any other day – just not when he is so tired.
  • Peggy goes to visit Pat. Tom needs support from his family. He knows she and Pat support him but she thinks he needs support from Tony too. Pat admits she has been worried about suicide, and they need to think about his feelings about John.
