  • An anxious Helen prepares for the video hearing. Kaz admires her new haircut, and Helen actually admits it is more like the one she had when she was allowed to make her own decisions. The girls discuss what Helen should wear. Pat has sent a new shirt, but Helen thinks it might smack of power dressing; Kaz offers to lend her a t-shirt to wear under the shirt and does much to boost Helen’s confidence.
  • As arranged, Tony brings Henry to Bridge Farm, but is late because Rob ‘forgot’ to tell the school of the change in arrangements. Henry is decidedly difficult, refusing to eat what Pat has cooked and being rude to her. He refuses to go out on the farm with Tony, saying he wants to watch a DVD. The offer of a story is rejected; he wants Daddy to read, not Tony. What have we done? asks Tony. Nothing, replies Pat, it’s Rob. He’s been saying things about us to Henry.
  • Kaz urges Helen to speak up when she faces the camera, and to hold nothing back. Helen is not sure; her mind goes slippery when she tries to remember what happened, and Rob twists things. He is persuasive and Helen finds it hard to distinguish between what happened and what she has imagined.
  • Following the row about the stolen hens, Josh is nowhere to be seen when Neil calls at Brookfield. Ruth offers a fulsome apology, and David assures Neil that they were very firm with him. Yes, says Neil, but he has still got my hens. They agree that Josh should replace them with some new point-of-lay birds, to be paid for by Josh himself. Neil is somewhat grudging in his response, but agrees to discuss the offer with Hayley.
