Ruth enjoys her party, but where is Toby?

Radio Times: There’s more than one surprise for Ruth and Kate causes concern

• Ruth is very happy with her birthday presents, which include going bungee jumping and abseiling.
• Jennifer is a little nervous because the band haven’t turned up. She is very proud of her floral pedestals. Nobody has seen Kate. Ruth and David are very impressed by the marquee.
• Later in the evening, Jill gives Ruth her present. A brooch which came from Jill’s mother, a present from her father. She tells Ruth that she is just as much of a daughter as Shula and Elizabeth. Toby is staying sober so he can drive Pip and Jill home.
• Kenton’s big surprise is a bouncy castle, one for adults. Everyone loves the bouncy castle. Jill is ready to go home, but Toby is nowhere to be found, and he is not answering his phone, so Jill goes home in a taxi
