Ruth has a visitor in the bedroom. Sid and Jolene have a visitor at the Bull.
Radio Times: Sid and Jolene glimpse the future.
Characters: Alistair, Caroline, David, Jolene, Josh, Ruth, Sid- Easter Monday means a rare lie-in for Ruth and David, but David’s hopes of a few romantic moments are dashed when the duvet is pulled off the bed by Monty the Muntjac, who is clearly quite at home upstairs.
- Relationships between Caroline, Sid and Jolene are still strained, especially when she tells them that she’s meeting a potential buyer for her share of the Bull, Trevor Hopkins, and that he’s a business friend of Matt’s.
- David shows Josh how to fix a rusty valve on the drinkers, when Ruth tracks him down and delivers a stern lecture on the subject of Muntjacs in the bedroom. Josh’s argument that he’s lonely downstairs don’t cut much ice with Ruth.
- Alistair is in low spirits at the Bull, and when Jolene tries to sound him out about the potential buyer, adding that Alistair is a mate of Matt’s, so must know him, Alistair leaves quickly.
- Sid and Jolene’s worst fears are realised when Caroline tells them Trevor Hopkins is definitely interested in the Bull, and can raise the sum required. Jolene knows that he already owns several dodgy clubs in the area; what would become of the Bull in his hands? Sid fears it may be the Bull’s last traditional Easter Monday, but Caroline stands her ground.
- David has trouble contacting Alistair to see a sick calf. When he does come, and David tells him to answer his mobile, Alistair snaps at him.
