Ruth is getting fed up with David. Not only doesn’t he do anything himself but he has turned away help from Brian.

Radio Times: Helen has her hands full. Meanwhile, Matt has an eye to the main chance.

Characters: , , , , , ,
  • Brian is fed up at having to play golf with Matt. He is sure it is just Matt trying to show off how well Amside is doing (if it is). Still it will be worth it if it brings some business in for the shoot.
  • Pip is getting worried about the state of Brookfield. David seems to have decided Lower Loxley is his priority again. So Pip decides she’ll have to help out. Not only does she do the lambing pens but she notices David hasn’t got any veterinary supplies for lambing and two of the heaters don’t work. Ruth is furious. It’s not just that he doesn’t do it himself; he told Brian they didn’t need him.
  • Helen is finding it a bit stressful on her own. No one to hand Henry to when she wants a shower. Ian turns up at just the right moment to give her a hand. And Jennifer brings round venison casserole and cup cakes so she won’t starve. The Health Visitor seems very happy with Henry’s progress anyway.
  • Matt think Elizabeth should give up on Lower Loxley – move out and get a management company in, and develop more of the estate. He wouldn’t be interested though. He’s got enough business and trusts his sources that the market plans are going to get approval.
