Later in The Cat Neil and David apologise, but they’re still looking unlikely to be able to field a side this weekend.
  • Greg averts a scare with the combine, stopping Brian yards from a half-buried shopping trolley, in return he buys Greg a drink in the pub. Greg admits to a small faux pas over a small shoot-related incident. George had approached him over dates when the Home Farm and Grey Gables shoots clashed so as to come to an agreement over the beaters they used. Greg sent him away with no help, but then remembered that Jack was family. Brian actually thanked him, saying that the shoot was business, not family-oriented charity.
  • Brian asks Janet to consider Jennifer as the chairman for the Millennium Wood Committee.
