Sid feels triumphant

Radio Times: Sid feels triumphant

Characters: , , , , , , ,
  • Sean’s at his wits’ end over the dire state of the cricket club, Neil and David haven’t got too many bright ideas either. They, without Sean’s knowledge ask Sid if he would play. He enjoys making them beg – but he enjoys even more telling Sean he’s too busy to play and playing up to the fact that Sean had no idea he’d been asked, suggesting that there’s nothing worse than a captaincy being undermined.
  • Kate’s at Bridge Farm to show Helen Baby and is distinctly frosty to Hayley when she arrives, although it seems that’s only in regard to her not making a statement about Roy, it doesn’t seem as though she knows Hayley’s made a statement for Roy’s case.
  • There are lots of lorries carrying rubble up to Grange Farm and few answers to what they’re doing up there ….
  • Helen thanks Hayley for the support she’s given to her parents and Tommy, that it really was above and beyond the call of duty, but that she’s around now, ready to take up the reigns again. Nothing’s said, but there’s an undercurrent there that Helen’s not particularly happy with Hayley’s presence on the farm.
