Shula effects a meeting at The Stables between Latif and Anisha with the result that Anisha is offered locum work in Latif’s stables; after much thought, Anisha decides to remain in the practice to Alistair’s relief.

Radio Times: Shula spots an opportunity

Characters: Alistair, Anisha, Justin, Latif, Shula

• Shula and Alistair discuss Anisha’s intentions in relation to the practice. She came in but only to meet with Matt. Shula suggests giving Anisha some space just as she is giving Oliver.
• Justin brings Ruby in for her visit with Alistair. Justin is having lunch with Latif later and Shula invites Latif to come and see Amir and Aziz. He will also be able to see the new equipment, especially the equine operating room. Alistair meets Anisha on her return from her meeting with Matt and brings her in to introduce her to Latif. It looks as if Latif and Anisha have hit it off.
• Latif is very impressed with the facility updates and Alistair truthfully reports they were due to Anisha’s initiative. After several questions, Latif offers locum work in his stables in North Borsetshire to Anisha with Alistair as back up. Both Alistair and Anisha are very pleased to accept the work. Anisha goes to find Shula to thank her for the introduction to Latif and to give her the good news of the offered work.
• Alistair, though, is still unsure whether Anisha is planning to stay with the practice. Meanwhile, Oliver texts Shula and wishes to confirm the meeting tomorrow at The Stables with the hotel rep. Shula advises Alistair to find Anisha and determine whether she plans to stay.
• To Alistair’s relief, Anisha feels the partnership is worth preserving. There are apologies from both partners and the future of the practice looks bright. Anisha notes that they have achieved what they wanted but there is no need to tell Matt that just yet. Anisha seems to have a plan when it comes to Mr. Crawford.
