  • Heather is still in hospital and the outcome is still uncertain. Ruth can’t come back to Brookfield yet. She isn’t impressed that Adam’s combine is at Berrow Farm for the open day. But David says the children are being very helpful.
  • Kate rather pathetically chases after Toby, leaving messages on his phone. She’s also keeping out of Brian’s way because of the purple swimming pool. Adam warns her he isn’t happy. But it was Toby who put the dye in the pool.
  • Rex helps out with the farm tours at Brookfield though Toby doesn’t manage to turn up. It’s rather quiet though. Only half as busy as last year due to Berrow Farm. Ben had been up to check and it is very busy up there. Kate turns up to interrogate Rex about where Toby is. Rex just says he’s “otherwise engaged”. He suggests that Toby might have gone to Berrow Farm by mistake.
  • Helen stumbles through her rehearsal for her presentation at Berrow Farm. Charlie piles on the pressure by telling her that Justin will be there. The presentation goes reasonably well though the punters aren’t all convinced about the environmental benefits of solar arrays. Overall the day goes well.
  • David is a bit disappointed at the turnout but he did sell some beef. Rex thinks he’s done well. David says, the trouble is everything is loaded in favour of the big guys but Rex thinks he can get round that.
  • At the party, Charlie is full of praise for Helen, but much to Kate’s disgruntlement, he wanders off when she turns up. So Kate turns on Helen instead. Damara aren’t in this to save the planet, they are in it for the money. Adam tells Kate she is an embarrassment. She tells him he shouldn’t be so sensitive but Adam reckons she’ll need all the friends she can get when Brian catches up with her.
