The Bridge Farm sale attracts a lot of buyers and all of the cows except Lonely Cow are sold.

Radio Times: The big day arrives at Bridge Farm and Rob is making friends.

Characters: , , , , , ,
  • The weather is fine for the sale. And there have been quite a lot of enquiries. Pat is keeping Henry occupied to distract herself. Buyers have come from far and away.
  • Rob is wondering if Pip has had any success with the relief milking contact he gave her. He offers to supply some more names if she doesn’t have any luck. But Pip is on tenterhooks about the exam results. Rob says he’s having his own recruitment issues but they’ve made a tempting offer to a woman who has had experience on a large herd in Scotland.
  • Pat won’t leave the house to see the sale. And Ruth says she can’t imagine how she is feeling. Pat does finally make an appearance. And it’s all over. Afterwards Pat is rather deflated. Most of the cows will be leaving with only Lonely Cow left. And Tony has a sad moment with her in the empty field.
