Radio Times: There is a crisis at The Bull, and Rob causes ructions.

Characters: , , , , ,
  • Ruth admits Jill is still sounding a bit subdued. Kenton admits he is worried about her and Ruth is sure she isn’t sleeping. Ruth and David decide to ask her to stay at Brookfield.
  • Jolene goes to look through her clothes in the basement again when they find out the basement is full of water. And Ruth has conveniently found a new friend outside of the village who is also flooded. They are desperate for food. Maybe David can help via the NFU. When they don’t have much luck, David decides they should help and Tony could help with picking them up.
  • Helen is cooking for Rob though he doesn’t sound very impressed. It’s a tuna dish. But then when Rob comes home he is practically sick from the smell – he hates tuna. Helen points out she said it contained tuna and Rob says he just didn’t hear her. Helen throws it all away. Later she is disappointed but Rob tries to convince her that they have all the time in the world to get to know each other.
  • Tony agrees to help with the sheep and Ruth is thrilled. Jolene and Kenton might be closed for days until they can sort the electrics. They’ll need de-humidifiers etc. And she is less than impressed that her costumes will be ruined.
