The question of Nic having a baby raises its head again at the christening.
Radio Times: It is Keira’s big day and Nic is feeling uncomfortable.
Characters: Alan, Clarrie, George, Neil, Nic, William- Will is a little offended to hear one of his goats compared to a wildebeest but George is very impressed. He is less impressed at having to go to church for the christening but is easily bribed with the promise of hot dogs. Will claims he is worried about Nic at the party because Emma can be a bit funny. But Nic says it’s Will and Ed she is worrying about.
- Neil is relieved to here from Clarrie that Alf can’t make it after all. Emma and Ed are nearly late for the service themselves but it goes well. Mia seems to be more interested in why Alan is wearing a nightie.
- Neil confesses to Alan that he thinks it’s all the wrong way round – the baby first before a wedding. But Alan says he doesn’t mind at all. Neil admits he is a bit disappointed that Emma never found a career but at least she is good at being a Mum.
- George certainly knows how to wind people up – he takes great delight in telling Ed that Will has made all three Billy goats. And Emma has a nasty dig at Nic because Mia made a noise in church and tells her Mia is old enough not to want to be the centre of attention the whole time.
- Later, Nic proves to have the magic touch in stopping Keira crying. That causes Jake to ask for a baby sister and Clarrie helps out by quickly changing the subject.
