  • Shula has almost managed to convince Christine of the wisdom of buying rubber flooring for the stables.
  • Caroline hadn’t heard about the events of Friday, but is pleased for Shula that she and Alistair are back together. Peggy’s a little frosty with Shula, but Caroline is sure that, eventually, most people (apart from Usha) will move on and forgive and forget.
  • Jennifer’s received a substantial cheque from Sir Sidney as a result of her dinner party last week – unfortunately it’s for the new church bells – not for the wood! She wonders if Jack could ring and explain the situation.
  • Julia, at Jack’s suggestion, offers herself to Peggy as choreography for the charity fashion show that she’s organise. Peggy would rather not, but can’t refuse her. Unfortunately, in the meantime Jack has offered that position to Lynda, leaving them with the unenviable task of letting one of the battle-axes down …..
