  • Tom has sorted out his final recipe and is offering a burger tea. But David is still decorating. But perhaps if he spent less time in the Bull…. Perhaps he needs a drink after listening to Lynda’s maiden speech at the Parish Council.
  • Caroline is pretty anxious that she hasn’t heard from Sid. But at least Oliver has sold his shares in Hungary. But everything else is up in the air.
  • Alan has taken Usha out for a posh dinner as a thank you for impressing Bishop Cyril. Alan is very pleased the Bishop has agreed to come to a Lent event. It will be an opportunity for him to show his support for Usha. She’s keen to see Cyril again but a little more reluctant to introduce Alan to her parents but, strike while the iron is hot.
  • When Sid gets back from seeing his friend, it’s not good news. It just wasn’t a good enough investment. Jolene says Caroline will just have to give them more time. Caroline says more time isn’t possible and blames Jolene for spreading the news about Grey Gables. She’s sorry but she has no choice. Her share of the Bull is going up for sale.
