Toby takes advice from Pip and dumps his “girlfriend”.

Radio Times: Ian seeks advice. Tracy won’t let Pip hide

Characters: , , , , ,
  • Oliver is about to leave for Italy but Ian grabs him for a moment to talk about his fostering experience. Oliver says it was a challenge often but they never regretted a moment. Of course, adoption is rather different. He tells some stories and then heads for the airport. Ian grabs the moment to ask Roy if he is sure it is right that Joey is taking over as front of house. No one is really sure.
  • Toby “bumps into” Pip helping with the goslings. Pip is surprised how helpful he is being. He admits it is because he wants a favour from Rex so he can have the bungalow for himself this evening to see Kitty. Then he admits to Pip he wants a favour from her. Kitty is keen to know about his exes and want to meet Pip at The Bull. Pip is adamant she will not.
  • Pip bumps into Tracy in the shop. Tracy convinces Pip she should go to the pub with her to meet Kitty. Pip isn’t keen but is bullied into it. Tracy says that if she doesn’t go Kitty will think Toby has something to hide so she reluctantly agrees.
  • Toby is really grateful when he sees Pip has turned up. Tracy takes the opportunity to blag a few drinks. Roy spots Kitty in the beer garden and he realises it is the woman he dated. Roy tells Toby she was called Kit last month when he dated her. When Tracy follows her to the loo, that just about finishes things.
  • Roy tells Ian that he adores having his children. Adoption will be the best thing he has done. Ian is a bit surprised at how quickly the news has spread. Roy is also worried about how things will be once Lexi has left but Ian says they must live for the moment. They agree that Ian will stop worrying about the adoption and Roy will stop worrying about losing Lexi.
