Tom and Brenda are finding their business lives aren’t coming together. Hayley and Roy are putting in a different personal ad for Mike.

Radio Times: Hayley takes matters into her own hands.

Hayley is still feeling very sick and doesn’t want to go out to the Bank Holiday Fair. Much better to spend the time planning Mike’s Personal Ad. Mike isn’t convinced about selling himself. He is happy with what they’ve ended up with. Hayley is less sure.
Tom and Brenda finally have a good day but Brenda then says she can’t make the Bank Holiday date at Lower Loxley – she has to work for Matt. and Tom is less than impressed. Roy overhears some of the argument and wonders if something is going on. Hayley then makes it clear later that she would have liked to join the trip to Lords for an all expenses trip to London. But Tom has another Gourmet Grills booking.
Hayley is disappointed that Mike won’t listen to her ideas for the personal ad. But Roy suggests they should put in both ads – Mike’s version and Hayley’s and see which gets the best replies.
