  • Susan is back working although Tony is unsure if it’s wise to have her in the dairy when her mind is distracted. Tom turns up to try to make peace with his parents. They agree to a chat. Tom says he doesn’t want a row but they start down the usual route of squabbling about what is possible. He reluctantly agrees he’ll do some more research before going further.
  • Jazzer and Ed sell their tractor for £3,800 and Jazzer leaves the money with Ed so they can keep it for buying the shearing gear. Ed tries to persuade Jazzer that they should give the old lady some more money but Jazzer still resists. Later Jazzer, Ed and Tom have a chat about Chris and agree that while they are all so sorry for him, it really was his fault.
  • Des, one of the people Darrell had trouble with while working for Amside, turns up in The Bull while Darrell is there. Des checks out what is going on and is interested to hear that he is working for the Aldridges. But when he says the job is ending next week, Des says he might have something for him and will give him a bell.
