Who let the pigs out? Gary. A wheat field suffers.
Radio Times: Tom brings home the bacon.
Characters: Adam, Brian, Gary, Nigel, Shula, Tom- Adam spots pigs are loose in his wheat field. It’s Jazzer’s day off so it must be that man Gary! It’s all hands on deck, including Tom from his Bridge Farm Thursday morning.
- Gary recalls turning off the electric fence and leaving the gate open, just for a minute, to fetch the tractor. Tom blows his top but Brian gets them started herding pigs. First attempt fails, after much hard work. Adam will need to re-drill the trampled wheat.
- Second attempt sees foolhardy Gary get knocked over attempting to stop a pig. Brian takes Tom aside and points out Gary’s one of the Chuckle brothers and not up to the job. Tom says it’s one mistake and he needs the help what with his 18-hour working days. All the more reason to be more careful who you employ, says Brian. Pig herding resumes…
- Nigel and Shula cycle the course. Shula, true to her nature, finds temptation hard to resist but Alistair says they can’t have a sneaky ride ahead of the competition. She’ll mock up the pen at the stables so they can practice the ‘twelve feet on the ground’ there when Alice is back at the weekend for “rough and windswept” Christopher.
