Radio Times: Jennifer accepts the truth

Characters: Brian, Freddie, Jennifer, Lily, William

• Lily is giving Freddie the silent treatment about him taking “smart” drugs. She sees the broken window at Number One, The Green and Freddie has to reluctantly tell her what happened. She quickly deduces that Ellis was responsible but Freddie denies it.
• Will asks Brian if Martyn has changed his mind about Will returning to work. He hasn’t. If he doesn’t go back to work by the end of next week, he will be thrown out of his cottage.
• In the back of the car, Freddie finds a leather jacket with zips. Lily says that it belongs to Olly with the moped, as she gave him a lift the other day. When he steps out of the car, Ellis is there. Freddie accuses him of throwing the brick, but in return Ellis threatens him. Nobody deals round the college unless they work for him. Freddie’s house has a lot of windows.
• Brian finally tells Jennifer that they need to sell some land as the insurance company isn’t going to pay out. Jennifer had already guessed that this is what he was planning. She’s clearly still nowhere near forgiving Brian.
