• It’s still frosty at the Brookfield bungalow as a combination of the refusal to go with Ruth’s plans and the prospect of David appearing before the tribunal has a level of tension in the air, “only obeying orders” and a promise to stick the facts fails to placate her – especially as her facts had been ignored last week.
• Flowers and an appalling couplet arrive for Caroline from Larry at Grey Gables reception – and Lynda reads the note!
• John’s met with Jack and he’s going to speak to Peggy about April Cottage.
• The Grundys are still stuffing envelopes and looking for tribunal witnesses – Jack Woolley is suggested as the character witness.
• Lynda reveals that she thought Caroline’s flowers might have been for her – from Robert, who’s just been made redundant, being the the last person into his company, he’s now the first out.
