• Josh the insominiac makes for Ruth and David the fractious, a situation not made better by Phil trying to hurry back to work, ignoring Richard’s advice to keep away from heavy work for a while.
• William’s new pedigree Jersey Heffer has arrived – “Posh Spice”, with her first calf, when it arrives, already dubbed “Baby Spice” – and he’s over the moon.
• David’s worried that both Ruth and Phil are working too hard, she too soon, he for too long. Phil, especially, doesn’t appreciate the kid glove treatment he’s getting from his family.
