• Neil’s organising a hand bell ringing at the church, meaning Shula’s struggling over her feelings on Usha again. Alistair’s nervous after hearing she popped in to see Kenton but it seems Kenton didn’t give the game away.
• Will takes Nic to see Keeper’s Cottage. Will’s considering ending his contract early and returning to the local shoot, and the cottage, perhaps by the end of the month. Would Nic and the kids move back in with him? There’s no rush, says Nic. They’ve only just started, you know. She doesn’t want to repeat the same mistakes. Perhaps once she’s passed her driving test so she wouldn’t be isolated there.
• Jazzer quizzes Hannah. Did Chris take her back to his place? What, you think I had my wicked way with him, she asks. She was dropped off at Bridge Farm. Hannah points out that Chris spends the whole time talking about Alice, and hope she appreciates how lucky she is.
• Ryan wants Alistair to provide a personal reference for a job he’s getting. It means Alistair omitting the gambling. After some thought, which probably raises Shula’s suspicions, he agrees. As long as not a penny of wages is bet. Ryan promises not to let Alistair down.
