Radio Times: Anisha worries for her reputation, and is Josh pulling a fast one?

Characters: , , , , , ,
  • Alistair is keen to discuss the building renovations, but Anisha has more pressing matters on her mind. Clients have heard about the drinking contest with Jazzer and she would welcome Alistair’s advice on handling comments when they come her way. Alistair has previously warned her about the tight-knit community that is Ambridge and to expect her movements to be closely followed. She confesses to her water consumption during the contest and Alistair is impressed she fooled Jazzer.
  • Tony is surprised at Josh’s price for the Fordson parts, but agrees to pay the bill – cash – just as soon as he has withdrawn it. Josh later reduces the bill by £50, having been reprimanded by Rex about ripping off his family.
  • Anisha ‘confides’ in Susan Carter, knowing that the truth of her water substitution will soon spread like wildfire. Sure enough, Susan cannot resist passing it onto Clarrie and so the rumour mill will continue. Clarrie almost lets slip to Susan the early morning encounter between Eddie and Lilian yesterday, but stops herself just in time. Susan has already worked it out though from piecing together previous evidence.
  • Josh reports back to Rex that he has seen Toby sneaking around Pip’s place early this morning so assumes things are back on between them. He is curious about what Toby gets up to at Brighton and wonders how he manages to get back in Pip’s good books.
  • Rex and Anisha meet during a run and Rex tells her that her cheating is well and truly doing the village rounds. She’s pleased that she’s being able to set the record straight.
