  • As Justin and Lilian reminisce over Lilian’s previous sharp exit, they look forward to a weekend together with no interruption from Miranda. While Justin cooks breakfast, Lilian pops to her car in her fur coat and slippers to retrieve her phone and runs straight into Eddie Grundy delivering firewood to Justin. She deflects his insinuations by saying she is here for an early morning business meeting and that Justin takes a relaxed approach to dress code. She later feels the need to seek out Eddie and impress upon him how well both he and Ed have done out of the estate over the years, and that it would be a shame for a false rumour to backfire on the person who started it. Eddie is suitably subdued.
  • As Helen and Kirsty celebrate Rob’s departure, Helen remains preoccupied with the long term effects on Henry. Everybody around him is trying hard to help him make sense of recent events, but it is hard to know what is going on in his mind. Meanwhile it seems that Peggy is reserving judgement on Tom and Kirsty’s baby and the family is treading on eggshells with her around the subject.
  • Lynda is proud of the five star review she has just received for her Bed and Breakfast and Eddie takes the opportunity to point out some leaking guttering. He wouldn’t want the shine to be taken off the review by a loose piece dropping on a guest’s head, so Lynda books him to fix it immediately.
