Radio Times: Helen is concerned for Henry, and Harrison is having nightmares.

  • Pip commends Helen for her actions during the altercation with Rob. Helen plays it down, but Pip hails her a hero. Although no one has any idea where he has disappeared to, Helen does not care. Harrison later visits Helen and Pat in person to inform them that a positive passport ID has been made of Rob leaving the UK on a flight to Minneapolis. Should he ever return though, the police will monitor him as a ‘person of interest’.
  • Harrison is dispirited over the team’s lack of commitment to nets practice in particular and the forthcoming cricket season in general. Fallon chides him for letting his worries encroach on their weekend together.
  • Pat reassures Helen that some of Henry’s behaviours are only to be expected, given the disruption he has experienced over the past months. Helen will not stoop to Rob’s level by poisoning Henry’s mind against Rob. As Helen points out, in Henry’s mind Rob is his father. Later, while making chocolate brownies with Henry, Pat patiently explains why Daddy had to go away. He has no job in Ambridge so had to leave to find another. She also reassures Henry that he has plenty of people here to look after him and Jack.
  • Pip asks Ruth for a shift swap as she and Toby are due on a night out. While Ruth tries to probe a little deeper about the state of their relationship, Pip swiftly moves the conversation on, but Ruth later returns to the topic and Pip tells her that things have been smoothed over between her and Toby. Ruth pushes with her enquiries about when Toby is likely to return her money and this is a step too far for Pip who becomes prickly.
