  • Bert is still fed up about David making remarks leaving his hammer in the field 3 years ago. Even when he doesn’t say anything, David is thinking it! Eddie is helping with the silage and he’s making out he’s still not concerned about Ed. When the forage harvester breaks down again, David is inclined to blame Bert for something turning up into the chopper again. Turns out it must have been the last person to move the electric fence. Could that have been David? But Kirsty thinks it might have been her. Bert certainly doesn’t want her telling David. The farm runs much more smoothly when he’s off his high horse!
  • Emma is getting more and more upset about Ed. Susan tries to console her but she admits Clarrie is worried. They both know Ed tends to fly off the handle. But Susan thinks Emma’s main concern has to be George.
  • Lilian is getting ready for her “taking over” party at the Bull. She’s also planning the redecoration of Honeysuckle for Ian and Adam. Spending someone else’s money is her kind of shopping – and she’s been spending rather a lot of theirs! Oliver and Caroline go to Lilian’s festivities but both of them are finding it difficult to wind down. But Oliver has decided that if Ed doesn’t come back soon he’ll completely have blown his chances.
