• Later today Brian is bringing his financial adviser to talk to Peggy and she is intent on getting all her documents in order, despite having had a bit of a day with Jack.
• Kenton calls on Mike with a strange invitation – a night out with the boys – at Neville Booth’s. It’s an offer Mike finds utterly resistible. Kenton seems a bit depressed about Kathy’s lack of enthusiasm for a night out with Jim Lloyd so Mike recommends a pint in The Bull.
• Peggy seems happy with Brice and Brian tactfully leaves them alone; that gives him time to try again to contact Ed or Mike to tell them that BL are prepared to rent them some land.
• Over a pint, Kenton observes that Mike isn’t his usual self and he confesses to having something on his mind. He is about to explain when Brian appears to tell him the good news. Brian wants a meeting tomorrow afternoon, so a reluctant Mike is pressed into leaving a message on Ed’s voicemail.
