Caroline lends Roy to Elizabeth for a couple of week to help out at Lower Loxley.

Radio Times: Kathy needs a friend, and Caroline makes a generous offer.

Elizabeth is ready to go home with a sack of get well cards. The rules are a bit tough – like holding the phone on the other side so as not to interfere with the implant. Finally, she’s had a chance to think and has decided to get a temporary manager. Of course, now she has decided, David decides he is indispensable at Lower Loxley. At home, Freddie tells Elizabeth she has been to The Stables to see Topper and he is fine so that is one less thing for her to worry about.
Kathy seems a bit distracted. She decides she needs some time with Pat. But when she gets to Bridge Farm, Pat is too taken up with Henry to take any interest.
Caroline has had a plan. Since Lower Loxley and Grey Gables are collaborating over some conferences, why doesn’t Elizabeth borrow Roy for a week or so? Elizabeth jumps at the chance.
