Radio Times: Elizabeth says no to a face-lift.

  • Kathy has been busy watching the customers in the Lower Loxley shop and has concluded that a reorganisation would bring rewards. Elizabeth has something else on her mind: Nigel, now without a car, has cycled to and from a meeting in Borchester and is long overdue.
  • Christopher is delivered home from his skiing holiday but Nitia’s parents decline to come in – again! There is no pile of washing to do: Celia the chalet maid has taken care of it. It was some chalet – with 4 bathrooms!
  • Elizabeth is clearly not in a mood to consider Kathy’s proposals and does not encourage her to develop and cost out her plans. When Kenton arrives with news of the errant cyclist, now drying off indoors, Elizabeth is soon gone. Kathy could kill Nigel; Kenton is of the opinion that Elizabeth will beat her to it.
  • Christopher has picked up some airs and graces on his holiday and this is not going down well with his family. They are therefore not delighted when Susan invites Nitia to join them for a family meal to celebrate their wedding anniversary.
