David admits he is worried about Ruth’s health. Dan and Fallon may have a sporting star for their Sport Relief race.
Radio Times: Dan proves to be a hard taskmaster, and Shula is supportive.
Characters: Dan, David, Fallon, Jill, Kenton, Shula- David has roped Kenton in to help on the farm. He is complaining mildly that he will have to tag his sheep from next year. Shula has taken Jill off to hospital and David admits that he and Jill are both worried about Ruth. She is tired and very pale. He admits he is worried that she might be ill again. She looks like she has really aged. Kenton tries to tell him she’ll be fine in the spring.
- Dan is after help with his assault course – he needs some tyres. David offers Kenton as an assistant. He’s got the route planned and is just out to run it. Fallon is working on the website. It’s going to be called the Rough and Tumble Challenge.
- Kenton struggles a bit on the run round the course. Dan is worried if he is okay – a bit too much for him. They can see the extent of the flooding from the top of Lakey Hill but at least all the rain means the race will be suitably muddy. And then has another idea – not just running past Hayden Brook but actually running in it! Kenton is horrified.
- Jill says the operation wasn’t as bad as she thought. Just a bit of pressure but nothing else. It feels a bit as if she has something in her eye and it’s watering a bit. Shula says she’ll take her for the follow up now. Jill is worried about not putting Ruth out though.
- Fallon tells Dan that Rhys was at the rugby at the weekend and one of his sporting heroes has said he might be interested in coming along to the race to present the prizes. Fallon is definitely going to give him a call.
