  • Left hand down, back a bit, stop. With Lynda’s help, Robert has parked his huge borrowed motor home in the perfect spot. Their arrival has not been unobserved but Usha will not hear of them moving on, though the offer was immediately made when she greeted them. Usha is sure that Alan will agree; also she is keen to see inside.
  • In The Bull, Sid is surprised to hear from Eddie that he is about to move into Brookfield for a week. He is also surprised to see Wayne in the bar and not delighted when Eddie buys him a half.
  • Usha is very envious of the fridge, the shower and most of all the loo – going out in the middle of the night does not appeal. Lynda offers the use of their shower but Usha feels it would be a kop out.
  • Trying to make himself useful, Wayne collects a few glasses but Sid takes this as a sign of his improvement and is quick to seek an agreement about when he is to leave – Friday. So soon!
  • At Brookfield, Eddie gets a lesson in the use of the plate meter to monitor the growth of grass in the various paddocks. The machine does most of the work and David will leave him a chart anyway; even computer-shy Eddie gets the idea. David has been told that dairy farmers need at least 14 CFDs per year for their sanity – that’s Cow Free Days!
  • David’s phone brings the call he has dreaded – from Usha, who has a bone to pick. She has worked out who leaked their holiday destination to Lynda and David is convinced that she will never forgive him.
