• Debbie’s nervous in the back of Jack’s Bentley and Lizzie can hardly cope – especially when Simon’s late. He does turn up though and the wedding goes off without a hitch, or rather with just one … (even Jennifer’s hat looks ok)
• The big surprise from earlier in the week was Pat and Tony turning up in a tractor to transport them to their reception – continuing a great day (although Brian’s absence does not go unnoticed).
• Alone at last and the newly-weds, bound for Paris, are definitely happy. Simon especially sure that he’ll never let the new Mrs Gerrard go.
