  • Kenton is preparing for The Bull Fashion Show by scrounging staging from Lower Loxley. Elizabeth has to disappoint him about the ice rink this year: there won’t be one. But the German Market will be on as usual.
  • Joe is proudly showing off – with a broad smile – his new teeth; they are much more comfortable but cost an arm and a leg. So he won’t be buying Borsetshire Life (by toffs, for toffs) though when he learns about Jim’s forthcoming article – series of articles, for which Jim will need new interviewees – his moral objections to the magazine weaken.
  • Jolene has had Lilian crying on her shoulder, ostensibly about Leonie but really about Matt. Kenton is keen to delegate some aspects of the Fashion Show but when Rhys offers to help he is ignored. When Jim and Joe discuss the idea of tree-dressing, and are seeking children friendly attractions, Rhys suggests story-telling but he is ignored.
  • Lewis has been costing out his proposals for converting buildings for wedding guest accommodation – up to £840k. That’s a lot of money – a big commitment. The building is Grade 2 listed, so even planning permission might not be easy.
  • Back at The Bull, Kenton has come up with a cracking idea for the tree-dressing: story-telling for the children! He wasn’t ignored. Rhys has another go at volunteering to help with the Fashion Show but Kenton and Jolene have other things on their mind, so he is ignored once more. Do you think he is already regretting turning down Fallon’s job offer?
