Elizabeth says her goodbyes to Siobhán but she really isn’t very conscious anymore. Eddie and Clarrie wonder if there might be something brewing between Ed and Fallon.

Radio Times: Elizabeth says her last goodbyes.

Characters: Brian, Clarrie, Ed, Eddie, Elizabeth, Fallon, Siobhán

• Bert is now helping Nigel build a stone gazebo as a memorial to Uncle Rupert. Eddie had to hear a lot about it. Clarrie has now heard that Siobhán has cancer and it’s bad. They are both worrying about what will happen to Ruairidh. Siobhán never said who the Father was. Clarrie suddenly realises why Elizabeth is in Dublin.
• Siobhán is not really very conscious anymore. Elizabeth is there with her but Siobhán can’t say much. Elizabeth and Brian take Ruairidh to the playground where he falls and wants his mummy. Elizabeth manages to distract him. Brian is terrified Ruairidh is always going to want his mother.
• Fallon thinks she might like helping with the cows. She does quite well until she totally soaks Ed.
• Eddie is home early in the evening because Ruth has been helping out so much. Clarrie is worried that they might not need him but he says he doesn’t really need the work. Eddie wonders if Fallon helping out means something significant and tries to tease Ed about it but he’s not having any of it. Clarrie just wants him to mind his own business and who knows what will come out.
