Emma tells Crimestoppers she thinks she know it was Keith that started the fire.
Radio Times: Emma goes out on a limb, and tensions are in evidence at Home Farm.
Characters: Adam, Annabelle, Brian, Emma, Susan- Emma phones Crimestoppers telling them that she knows Keith is involved, though she doesn’t tell them her name or why she thinks she does.
- Some of the quotes for servicing the dairy unit are definitely cheaper than Home Farm but Brian thinks he will still carry the day on quality. Annabelle is not so convinced.
- Emma is very upset when she talks to Susan. Susan hopes they throw away the key from whoever did it. Emma doesn’t really want to talk about it. Susan tries to cheer her up talking about the village Olympics when Tracy bursts in saying the police are interviewing Keith over the fire – some sneaky tip off. Susan can’t believe it. Emma is silent. While she is still at Ambridge View, Keith turns up having been released. Things between Keith and Emma are very tense. Emma asks him what they wanted to know but he thinks he is in the clear. He’s made enemies over the years of course but he doesn’t know who would have reported him. Tracy wonders if Emma knows.
- Brian tries to make Adam be on side over the quote and he agrees he’ll do what he can. A pity he didn’t talk to Adam rather than Debbie since he’ll be doing the work. Brian is quietly confident. He keeps pressing Adam to get on with it and doesn’t help by saying the whole problem with the dairy was his fault.
