Fallon’s future (and Kenton’s) is in the balance.
Radio Times: Fallon is feeling nervous. Meanwhile, Lilian has her work cut out.
Characters: Fallon, James, Kenton, Kirsty, Lilian- What advice does Kenton have for Fallon as she faces her interview at Jaxx? Be yourself. Kenton thinks her creativity and initiative, plus her easy way with people will carry the day. She hopes so. He does too.
- Fallon’s next call is on Kirsty, just as Lilian is doing some shopping for James’ arrival. Kirsty thinks she would be a dream to work for compared to her rival Naomi, who is a nightmare.
- Whinge, whinge, whinge. We are in the hospital and James is not happy; he wants more painkillers, he is bored and the food is awful. Get me out of here! He won’t be discharged today because he still hasn’t got the full plaster, but in readiness he has prepared lists for Ma: things to retrieve from his wrecked car, things to retrieve from his flat and some clothing needs to tide him over until Ma can drive down to London.
- When Kirsty calls, Fallon is still waiting to go in. Naomi came out ages ago with a big grin. Mind games! Stay focussed.
- As Lilian is leaving James, still whingeing for England, Paul rings; the call pleases her and she promises to talk when she is in her car.
- Jim was an encouraging interviewer but Fallon was a bit taken aback by Don’s attitude. She thinks that perhaps he had made up his mind after Naomi’s interview. She has to wait until tomorrow morning.
