  • It’s the unveiling of the Jack Woolley remembrance window, with which Peggy is pleased. She feels it’s the only positive thing to have come from winding up his estate. She visits Tony and chats to him about the previous few days’ events. Tony responds, and the pair have a tearful and heartfelt conversation. He heard Peggy’s every word when she spoke of her regrets over the will and he wants her to know that he loves her too.
  • It’s opening night for Blithe Spirit and Susan struggles into her costume. It’s a bit tight and she can barely breathe, but it will do… until the zip bursts two minutes before the curtain call. A blushing Fallon has received a card and flowers from Harrison. He later comes backstage to congratulate the cast and confesses to Fallon that he retained the mistletoe from her bouquet. The pair share a moment underneath it.
  • Susan unwittingly steals the show with her genuine distress over her costume, which comes across well on stage. A disgruntled Lynda reminds Susan that hers is the more substantive comedy character.
  • Rob has bought tickets for the Lower Loxley New Year’s Eve Ball, with a new dress for Helen and spa treatments, which an envious Susan comments on.
  • After several missed calls during the show, Pat speaks to Peggy and hurries backstage to Helen, to share the good news about Tony. This has turned out to be a Happy Christmas after all and they both go to find Tom and Johnny.
