It’s party time at Brookfield, a wild time at the Young Farmers and time for a kiss outside The Bull

Radio Times: Kenton has plans, while Ambridge celebrates.

Characters: , , , , , , , ,
  • As Ambridge gears itself up or its New Year’s Eve celebrations, Kenton issues last minute instructions to the more than competent Fallon. Harrison Burns rings her to say he will be late, but Fallon is not bothered, as long as he turns up.
  • Jill is in overdrive with the catering at Brookfield, while Carol organises cocktails and party games. Josh and Pip are off to the Young Farmers ski night, but not until David issues warnings about limiting the alcohol intake. David manages to tell Jill he thinks she has made the right decision.
  • Harrison finally arrives and asks Fallon if she would rather be at Lower Loxley. It seems that she is quite happy where she is, especially since Kenton has offered her some of his windfall money to set up her business. Harrison knows that a policeman’s lot is not a happy one where making room for romantic entanglements are concerned, and Fallon is touched by his concern.
  • The evening hots up with an ice cube challenge for the young farmers, but Josh is soon very drunk. Johnny offers to look after him while Phoebe tries the ski run.
  • Fallon and her beloved take time out to look at the stars. Harrison says he will be a happy man if next New Year’s Eve he will still be standing by Fallon’s side. And yes, he would like to go back to hers for a drink afterwards …
