Jennifer catches Lexi and Roy in what she wrongly assumes is a “compromising” situation

Radio Times: Jennifer hears more than she bargained for

Characters: , , , , , ,
  • Lexi is having a battle with the men’s caravans. Jennifer says if she can finish them tomorrow she can have Friday off. Lexi needs more bin bags and Jennifer offers to drop some off. Roy is disappointed that they can’t go to the cinema but is pleased to know they can spend the day together on Friday.
  • Peggy tells Adam she might have disapproved at one time but now she thinks Adam will make an excellent father. She is less pleased when Harrison appears and is rude about Hilda. Harrison is trying to drum up enthusiasm for nets after the dismal performance at the weekend but Adam isn’t sure.
  • Roy turns up to help Lexi with the caravans and it suddenly dawns on him that Constantin was “the one”. Still he gets on with cleaning the outside.
  • At the vets, Peggy tells Alistair how it breaks her heart that Hilda is so blood thirsty. She hopes that he has some advice. He sells her a collar with a bell but who is going to put it on her? Eventually they get it on her and Peggy thinks it’s the perfect solution. Jennifer doubts it.
  • At nets Harrison tries to convince the team that they can turn things around. He passes round information that Will has collected on the Darrington players. It should help them be in a better position when the time comes.
  • Roy ends up getting soaked with the hose while cleaning the caravan and Lexi finds him something to change into. While Jennifer is on the phone she arrives at the caravan and hears Lexi telling Roy to get his trousers off. Jennifer obviously assumes that she caught them in flagrante and runs off. Lexi thinks it is hysterical. So Roy ends the day as the next person to be in Constantin’s trousers.
