Jill is less than impressed that Kenton is dating Jolene.

• Elizabeth is working on her package for Roy. He’s told her he is definitely interested. It would be a salary rise and more responsibility, but the clincher might be a car. It will be awkward with Caroline but Roy is too good to let go. There is definitely a bit of a frost when Kenton shows up though. He’d told the family about Jolene at the weekend and Jill is obviously not impressed.
• Jolene is still worrying about Jamie. She won’t tell Kenton what Kathy said in the row though – but it could have been worse. Kenton tells Jolene the family now and tells here they are all fine with it. Jolene isn’t too sure.
• David is being gloomy about the farm – the disease, milk prices etc. Nothing seems to please him, even Jill telling him he is like his father. Jill is standing for election to the parish council now David is standing down. There is a bit of a mystery, though, about whether Lilian will be standing again. Jill is going to be busy anyway; she is “catering manager” for the visit of Gardeners’ Question Time.
