Kathy finally decides to call the police.

Radio Times: Kathy faces a tough decision.

Characters: Alan, Fallon, Kathy, Kenton, Kirsty, Shula

• Kathy is still having a tough time. Kenton tries to jolly her along but it isn’t working. She can’t stop thinking about the poor girl. Then suddenly she decides. She isn’t going to call and tears the card up. Nothing she can do will change what happened to the girl and she has Jamie to think about it.
• Shula and Alan are still researching the chairs and are hoping the village survey will show some support. He is missing Amy though. The house feels so empty. They meet up with Kenton and Kathy and the realisation that Amy has gone away on her own makes Kathy think again about her the girl. She goes home and makes the call.
• Fallon is still worked up about Ed’s birthday present and she confesses to Kirsty that she is interested in Ed as more than just a mate. Kirsty tries to persuade her to tell Ed but she still thinks she has too much to lose. Kirsty offers to help about by giving Ed a prod but Fallon is pretty sure she is better off handling it on her own.
