  • Fallon comments to her mother that it must have been hard for Kenton on a stag night with no alcohol. Jolene thinks he was needed to ensure that the others got back safely. Little do they know …
  • A chastened Kenton rings from Machynlleth station. He has no idea how he got there, but the next train to Birmingham leaves in an hour. He has no idea when he will be back. Jolene demands to know the truth; has Kenton been drinking?
  • The hens set off for a more sophisticated night out. It begins in a sedate fashion, as they giggle over a tiara Kirsty is forced to wear, and are forced to listen to Helen and Hayley comparing childbirth experiences. Then they set off for a club, and the trouble starts. Fallon has too much to drink, and then spots Rhys with another girl. Her friends are unable to stop her confronting, and then assaulting the pair. Fallon is thrown out by the bouncers, and does not go quietly, resulting in her being arrested by none other than PC Burns.
  • Kenton finally returns, and is in a sorry state. Jolene lets him sleep it off, then forces him to drink oxtail soup. What nasty boys did this? she asks, without much sympathy.
  • Fallon is taken to the cells until she has sobered up a little, but is cautioned for assaulting a police officer in the execution of his duty. PC Burns asks her what the problem was, and a resentful Fallon tells him about Rhys. PC Burns is not unsympathetic, and lets her go. Helen comes to pick her up and detects a frisson between the two.
  • Poor Fallon has left her purse in the club, and has no idea how she will get home. Helen suggests she comes back to Blossom Hill Cottage. What a brilliant night this turned out to be, says Fallon.
