  • Matt is back at the Dower House and gardening but is pretty reluctant to say much of what he’s been up to. But he invites David in for a beer. They chat generally but Matt is clearly trying to get to information about Lilian although David doesn’t seem to notice until it’s dragged out of him but even then David really talks about how hard it is dealing with Jack and Peggy. Later David tells Adam he thinks Matt is missing Lilian and Adam just wishes he would tell her. She is miserable without him.
  • Lynda tries to drum up support for the Village Hall meeting about the Home Farm footpaths. She doesn’t have much luck until Wayne offers to babysit Jamie. Sid tries to blame him for keeping Jamie late and tries to press him again to move on.
  • Lynda and Susan are determined to make life difficult for Adam at the meeting though other reactions seem more mixed. They will fight his planning application all the way.
