Matt’s tag comes off.
Radio Times: It is a day of celebrations for Matt, while Fallon starts a recruitment drive.
Characters: Amy, Fallon, Helen, Lilian, Matt- It’s a good news day for Matt: the electrician has finished ready for the plasterer and his tag comes off. Tonight he can go out and Jaxx is the chosen venue; he is curious about what Kenton has done to it. Lilian is pleasantly surprised to find that some money has been paid into their joint account. Matt did it: he has managed to access some of the money in his overseas accounts.
- Amy has heard Helen’s news but she had guessed anyway. Amy can talk in general terms about birth options but she is still a student.
- Lilian has checked in at The Bull. Jolene is resting. Lilian is willing to help but warns that with Matt’s tag coming off she will be less free in the evenings. It may be time to employ more staff.
- In The Bull, Amy explains that the birthing centre is actually run by the midwives and the idea is to make it almost like being at home. Jolene has woken and Fallon confronts her with the staffing problem. Jolene agrees it is a good idea but is not very keen to take the initiative; Fallon will sort something out.
