Mike gets a lift from the funeral. Brenda gets drunk and after a scene with Roy, makes a pass at Tom.

• Pat and Roy do well with the eulogies at the funeral. Mike is a bit overwhelmed by it all. So many people have come. Roy gets himself into a bit of a state at the wake. Brenda is trying to talk to him but he wanders of looking for napkins and salad! She’s not impressed and rather hits the bottle. Finally she lets rip and the two of them descend into an argument ending up with Brenda on the floor. Tom takes her home and she makes a pass at him. Tom says it isn’t the right time and that upsets her even more. She begs to be allowed to stay with him that night.
