Radio Times: Mike makes a date with his future.

Characters: , , , ,
  • Another bout of morning sickness has laid Hayley low. When she feels well enough to get up, she finds that Mike has a bundle of replies to his two lonely hearts ads. She makes him open them, and despite his reluctance, forces him to reply to one from each batch. He makes a date for Friday with Wendy, and to his surprise, Corinne texts with the suggestion of a drink at the Feathers.
  • Robert is worried about mounting credit card debts, but Lynda assures him she will soon have things out with Glen Whitehouse, and they will be paid for the meals they have bought. Robert is not convinced, but Glen rings him, offering him work. He has to write a colourful article on teenage mating habits. He’ll do it, but only if Lynda comes along too.
  • Tractorless Bert is in mournful mood at the ploughing match, although Mike tries to cheer him up. At least the Massey should be fixed in time for the Edgely match and the county finals.
