More insidious behaviour from Rob, secretly enthusing Henry about boarding school.
Radio Times: Elizabeth has good news, and Alf turns on the charm.
Characters: Alf, Elizabeth, Henry, Lilian, Pat, Rob- Making pyramids with jars of jam is great fun; Rob has brought Henry to help restock the shop, claiming that Henry likes to get out because Helen has such a short fuse when she is tired. Rob is hoping for an early CBT appointment. He tells Pat that his mum is going home on Good Friday; Pat is so grateful that Ursula has been here for Helen to rely on! Alf Grundy calls in to get some vegetables for Clarrie.
- Elizabeth has heard that she has been nominated for Borsetshire Business Woman of the Year and has correctly deduced the source of the nomination. By way of celebration Lilian insists on taking her out to lunch.
- Having already turned down her invitation for Sunday lunch, Rob seems to have run out of excuses when Pat suggests a tea party on Thursday to say goodbye to Ursula. Rob won’t be available, though.
- Lilian is on a high having sold one of her properties for the asking price and she is full of praise for The Bull’s new chef. When a lonely Richard arrives he is encouraged to join the two ladies. Elizabeth invites him to Lower Loxley on Easter Sunday but of course her sister got there first.
- On the way home, Rob indulges in a spot of propaganda for boarding school. Would Henry like to go to daddy’s school? Of course but it’s a surprise for mummy (you can say that again!) so Henry is sworn to secrecy.
